TERASCALA ANNOUNCES SUPPORT FOR LUSTRE 2.1

AVON, Mass. – November 10, 2011 - Terascala, Inc., the leader in Fast Data storage management, today announced support for Lustre 2.1 within its Terascala Integrated Storage Information System (TISIS™) high throughput storage management solution.
Announced today, TISIS v3.0 builds upon Terascala’s proven management solution and features extensive analytics for Fast Data workflow optimization in the cloud, in remote shared facilities, or locally.

“At Terascala, we’re continuing to invest in the development of easy to deploy and manage storage appliances based on Lustre,” said Peter Piela, vice president of engineering at Terascala. “This new release of Lustre adds important new features that will accelerate its adoption into virtualized environments, which require performance, simplicity and manageability -- all Terascala strengths.”

Lustre 2.1 provides improved control over virtualized storage, wider platform support and other important new features such as support for larger OST and 3TB drives, as well as support for RHEL/CentOS 6 server.

TISIS v3.0 with Lustre 2.1 support will be available in Q1 2012.
